Amy Sue Everhart, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 67 due to complications with the flu.
Born in Springfield, Ohio to Karee and William Everhart, Amy spent most of her childhood in Terrace Park, Ohio where her energy, warmth, and athleticism quickly became evident to all who knew her. She was a trailblazer from a young age — becoming the first female tennis athlete at Mariemont High School by competing on the boys' team when no girls’ team existed. In her senior year, she captained the women’s soccer team, leaving a legacy of leadership, grit, and joy in competition.
Beyond her athleticism, Amy was a lifelong lover of nature and the small treasures it held. She was an avid hunter of seashells, coral, and the elusive morel mushroom — a pastime that brought her both cherished solitude and time with friends.
Amy’s spirit was bold yet kind, curious and full of mischief, grounded by her love of family and her deep appreciation for beauty in the simple things.
She is survived by her children, Molly Sullivan and Andrew Sullivan, and her loving siblings, Sally (Tom) Proctor, Cathy Doug) Proctor, Nancy Everhart Safran, and Bill (Robin) Everhart, stepchildren Becca Didriksen and Bryan Dennis, and many nieces and nephews.
Amy’s presence, humor, and prankster antics will be profoundly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
A service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Terrace Park, Ohio at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 31, 2025, with a light lunch reception to follow.
