Charlotte L. Cremer

Charlotte Leona Cremer (nee Ashton) was born in Afton, Ohio, Clermont County on December 28, 1932 and she departed this life February 3, 2021 at the age of 88 years 1 month and 6 days.

Charlotte was the youngest of 3 daughters born to Olin M. and Gladys E. (nee Dunn) Ashton.   Preceding her in death were her father, mother, sisters Phyllis Pittman and Janice Hanson.  Her husband Robert C. Cremer, daughter Connie Sue, and granddaughter Erin Suzanne Cremer.

Charlotte joined Williamsburg Presbyterian Church at the age of 12 and in marriage changed her membership to Mt. Orab United Methodist Church.  She was also a member of the Ohio Eastern Star Mt. Orab Chapter 573.

On April 14, 1951 Charlotte was united in marriage to Robert Cremer and to this union was born 5 children.  Bruce and Debbie Pershing of Sardinia, Ohio, Denise and Charles Shiveley of Cincinnati, Ohio, Karen and Steve McQuitty of Mt. Orab, Ohio, and Kevin and Theresa Spitznagel of Mt. Orab, Ohio.

Charlotte also leaves 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, a host of relatives and friends.  Everyone who knew her will miss her kind and loving ways, as she truly was a remarkable mother, grandmother, and friend.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Orab United Methodist Church located at 212 Church Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.  Family and friends will be received beginning at 12:00 pm until the time of service.
