Debra 'Debi' Ann Crosby

Debra (Debi) Ann Crosby, nee Birck, Born August 11, 1953 in Amarillo TX. Wife of the late Gary Crosby for 37 years until he passed away 5 years ago. Oldest child of Ed and Margaret (Sommer) Birck. Sister to Ed (Debbie) Birck, Nancy (Dave) VonBargen, Ken (Karen) Birck, Cindy (Tim) Sutter, Doug (Fiance Julie) Birck, Mary Ann (deceased) and Chris (Jane) Birck. Devoted aunt to Brad (Amanda) Birck, Adam (Renee) Birck, Nicholas (Anna) Birck, Justin & Logan Von Bargen, Amanda (Phil) Wait, Ken II (Erica) Birck, Jessica (Frank) Santee, Matthew, Michael, & Caitlyn Sutter, and Anna, Christopher, & Julia Birck. Loved great aunt to Lucy Birck, Alex and Emmaline Birck, Miriam and Sammy Birck, Truman Wait and Joseph Birck. Debi graduated from Mt. Notre Dame in 1971 and married Gary Lee Crosby November 25, 1972. While they never had children of their own, they were deeply involved in their nieces and nephews lives. She worked as a teen at Frischs, and then at Western Southern Life, Hi-Way Equipment and GE. Debi took a wonderful chance to buy a business with her sister Nancy and their father. They purchased Leisure Time Embroidery in 1994 and grew and built the business into the thriving enterprise it is today. March 1, 2015 would have marked their 21st anniversary in business together. She will always be remembered as kind, generous and loving to all her family and friends. Her death from small cell cancer leaves a true void in the entire Birck and the Leisure Time families. Visitation from Noon till 2PM, with Mass at 2PM, all at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 7820 Beechmont Ave. Cincinnati 45255.
