John W. Seaman

John William Seaman, passed away on August 21, 2016 in his 72nd year. He was the dear son of the late Alvin and Dorothy Seaman, devoted husband of Sharon Ann (nee Bohnen) Seaman, loving father of Melissa Ann (nee Seaman) Dalton and Timothy Edward (Vanessa) Seaman, treasured grandfather of Tyler Wayne (Kristyn), Zachary Thomas and Logan Matthew Dalton, Tristan Allen Seaman, and Thomas Ellison and proud great grandfather of Dexter, Brantly and Jadyn. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Candy Lovelace, other family and many friends. John enjoyed hunting and fishing, coached youth baseball and proudly served his country in Vietnam, earning the Vietnam Service and Campaign medals, Combat Infantry Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Overseas Bar, Good Conduct Medal as well as the Sharp Shooter (Rifle M14) Badge. His family always came first and he will be forever loved. The family will be receiving guests, 11:00 am until time of funeral service, 12:30 pm on Friday, August 26, 2016 all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, in Mt. Healthy.
