Albert Simandl

Albert "Al" Simandl, age 56, passed away surrounded by his family on February 28, 2020. He worked in agriculture as a farm manager for 20 years. For the last 14 years, he was the Building Operation Manager and Electronic Classroom Technician at The American Jewish Archives. He was loving, caring, hard-working, honest, loyal. A good person and friend to all. He was the beloved husband of Richelle (Jenkins) Simandl, loving father of Austin Simandl, Jenna Simandl (Mark) Boyd, and Mary Simandl, loving brother of Ken (Neva) Simandl, Cindi Wengelewski, Joe (Mia) Simandl, and Julie Callos, brother-in-law of Larry Saunders, and will also be missed by multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adalbert and Alice Simandl, a sister Kathy Saunders, and a brother-in law, Tom Wendelewski. A celebration of his life will be held at The American Jewish Archives, 3101 Clifton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220 on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hamilton County 4-H Youth Development Endowment Fund or The American Jewish Archives.
