McCOIN, Alfred D. "Mac" of Loveland, OH. Beloved husband of the late Frances McCoin, whom he married on November 16, 1946 in Radford, VA; loving father of Robyn (Billy) Armstrong of Columbus, OH, Kelly McCoin of Loveland, OH, Jody (Kathy) McCoin of Maineville, OH; caring grandfather of Tracy Ward, Billy Jo Armstrong, Kyle McCoin and Sara McCoin; dear great-grandfather of Justin Oliver, Jessica Oliver, Holly Ward and Ivy Ward; cherished brother of Jane Myers of State Road, NC and Frances Stanley of Boonville, NC. Also preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Lenner McCoin, three sisters and five brothers. Died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the age of 88. Mr. McCoin retired from Ford Motor Company in 1987, was a member of Springvale Baptist Church and served in the US Army. Friends will be received from 12 Noon - 10 PM Monday, October 3, 2011 at the family home where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Pastor Joe Childress officiating.
