Terrace Park: Amy Minor, age 68, passed away on Saturday, February 8. Amy was a devoted and enthusiastic mother, grandmother, sibling and friend. For almost 40 years, she lived in Terrace Park and was loved by so many in the community and beyond. She was a self-starter and award-winning realtor with Comey & Shepherd and previously Sibcy Cline for many years. Many of her loyal clients were repeat customers.
Amy’s claim to fame was her sense of humor; always on, with an ability to light up any room. Even when she became infirm, she was herself, holding court and putting a smile on every face, whether a nurse, a stranger or one of her many friends. Her ability to share jokes and humorous stories from years ago was extraordinary and kept us all laughing.
Nothing made her prouder than her two devoted children, their spouses, and their families, Heather and John Pratt, and Will and Hanna Minor, who were by her side throughout her illness. She also is survived by five grandchildren, Charlie and Caroline Pratt, and Molly, Nellie and Henry Minor. Amy was happiest when she was surrounded by friends and family and was a regular at multiple generations of family sporting events. She was so proud of her athletes and their number one cheerleader.
Amy grew up in Pelham, New York, where she was a formidable swimmer, very popular and perhaps too much fun. She was the second of four children, and is survived by Madeleine Ludlow, Tricia Blank (Tim) and Breck Weigel (Mindy).
Please join us for a gathering of friends and families to celebrate Amy’s life on her birthday, Tuesday, February 18, at Cincinnati Country Club from 12:30-2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the ASCPA or Meals on Wheels.
