Andy Bill Rainey was a man of many faces. At a young age he was picked by Hal Rouch to play the stand-in part of Darla’s little brother in Little Rascals. He then joined the United States Marine Corps in April 1945, serving in World War II. After leaving the service Bill moved to Cincinnati and joined the Cincinnati Police Department Motorcycle Division. While attending a Policeman’s Ball he met his wife Estelline Clark, and they married August 1948. After getting married, they moved to Milford, OH and had 3 children. Unfortunately, Estelline died in October 1968. Bill managed to raise his three children on his own with various other positions such as, he owned Hilltop House in Milford, OH, was an entrepreneur, an entertainer, a chef, a policeman, a butcher, owner of Bedco Construction, a carpenter, father, and friend. He was well known around Cincinnati for his booming baritone voice. He also joined the Kingsmen of Cincinnati and played for various Benefits throughout the city. Later in life Bill found his calling as an Antique Dealer and many, many customers loved to sit and hear the stories he had to tell.
Bill succumbed to his illness on September 8, 2022. He is leaving behind is children, Derrek Rainey, Charmain Rainey Gold, and Matt Rainey, two granddaughters, Damian (Richard) Bose and Emma Rainey, and 2 great-granddaughters, Avery and Addison Bose.
Bill would have been 94 years old on September 15, 2022. He was surrounded by his family and friends and passed peacefully. This kind and very talented man will be greatly missed.
