Anna I. Smith

SMITH, Anna I. (nee; Carpenter) of Stonelick, beloved wife of the late George Pete Smith. Loving mother of Carol Anne Pacella-Dotson, Rheda A. Hunnefeld and Ricky J. Smith. Affectionate grandmother of four and great grandmother of two. Monday December 11, 2006 at the age of 88. Mrs. Smith was a retired postal employee who worked at the Batavia Post Office for many years. She was an avid quilter, baker and gardener even with severely diminished eyesight. She is perhaps best known for her home based charity work. She gave freely of herself to those in need especially around the holidays. Every year she would bake three to four hundred dozen cookies and send them to the troops and distribute them to needy and deserving families in the community. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Funeral services 1:30PM Friday with visitation from 6 till 8PM Thursday, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory, Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Cincinnati Association for the Blind. Condolences at craver-riggs.com.
