Anne L. Landa

LANDA, Mrs. Anne Longley passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 in Cincinnati, OH. Mrs. Landa was born December 31, 1919 in Hartford, CT, daughter of George S. Longley, Jr. and Madeline Brooks Longley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Robert Landa. Brothers S. Brooks Longley and Dwight F. Longley and grandson David Sprouse also preceded Mrs. Landa in death. Survivors include Susanne Moliere (John) of Hume, VA, Stephen Landa (Denise) of Cincinnati, OH, Scott Landa (Sue) of LaGrange, GA, and Richard Landa of Trumbull, CT. She was the proud grandmother of Stephanie Sprouse, Michael Sprouse, Genevieve Swanson, Elizabeth Blair, W. Clayton Landa, Katherine Frost, Emily Levin, J.S. Newman Landa and great grandmother of 8. A memorial service will be held at 3PM, December 15, 2009 at Marjorie P. Lee Retirement Community, Cincinnati. Burial will be in Culpeper, Virginia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Mission of Episcopal Retirement Homes, 3870 Virginia Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227.
