Anthony "Tony" Moubray

Anthony “Tony” Moubray passed away on March 22, 2025, in Milford, Ohio. He was born on March 20, 1949, to the late Thomas and Gladys Moubray in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Tony is survived by his two sons, Brian (Ciara) and Michael (Steph) Moubray and daughter, Shannon (Brian) Helton; his grandchildren: Destiny, Charlee, Rian and Logan; and his sister, Cheryl Busch.

Tony was a 1967 graduate of Reading High School. After graduating, Tony attended Ohio State University and UEI in Louisville leading him to work in electronics at Nutone and then Formica. Tony then followed his love of Avionics and retrained to become an A&P technician. He retired from Airborne Express in 2011.

Tony had many hobbies. His favorite was being a pilot. He loved airplanes and visiting the Air Force Museum. He was a history buff especially when it came to the Civil War which led him to doing living histories and building Civil War style cannons. Tony was a member of the NRA and loved guns and shooting them with his sons. He enjoyed scuba diving and taking his sons scuba diving off the coast of Florida. He owned Standardbred horses and enjoyed Harness Racing. He was a baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds. In the past ten years his hobby had become watching his granddaughters play sports and talking about his grandchildren to anyone who would listen.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 28, 2025, at 11:00 am at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street Mt. Orab, OH 45154. Family and friends are welcome to attend the service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Mt. Orab Cemetery.
