Arnold “Arnie” Austin, 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born in Evanston, Illinois, on November 1, 1929. Arnie is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Austin of Cincinnati, OH; his loving children: John (Patti) Austin of Dublin, OH, Ann Grady of Cincinnati, OH and Jane (John) Sorstokke of Grand Rapids, MI; his cherished grandchildren: Sarah Wenner, Sean Grady, Emily Sorstokke, Hannah Grady and Adam Sorstokke; his adored great-grandchildren: Raymond Wenner and Anthony Wenner; his dear siblings: Albert Goodrich of Eagle River, WI and Maggie MacDonald of Gainesville, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Austin and Herbert & Adrienne Goodrich and his grandson, Michael Austin. Arnie attend Northwestern University where received his undergrad degree and his MBA. He was a member of the Inter Parish ministry at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association and Sigma Nu. He was president of Children’s Dental Care Foundation, president of Ryland Lakes Country Club and president of the Residence Council at Deupree House. Arnie served as a Lieutenant, junior grade, in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Procter & Gamble in professional services for 38 years. Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 26, 2022, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Avenue, Terrace Park, OH 45174. Rev. Heather Wiseman officiating.
