Audrey Gail Waldo

Audrey Gail Waldo, age 89, passed away at the Laurels of Milford on Monday, September 1, 2025. She was born in Butler, KY to Virgil Randolph Jacobs and Mary Knox.

Gail was a selfless, devoted mom of Greg (Vicky) Waldo, Doug Waldo, and Amy (Bob) Hopping; proud grandma of Braden Hopping; dear sister of Lois (Ralph) Eaton; caring sister-in-law of Barbara Jacobs and will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her stepfather, Earl Denzel Burlew and her brother, Virgil Jacobs.

Gail retired from Mercy Hospital after 25 years of service. She was a supportive mom not only to her own children but was considered a neighborhood mom to all their friends as well. She was an avid reader and loved animals, especially birds, cats, and dogs. Above all, Gail loved her family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH at 5:00 PM, where a Gathering of Family and Friends will immediately follow.
