Barbara Aileen Baumgardt

Barbara A. Baumgardt, age 58, resident of Milford, passed away quietly on November 20, 2015 surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved daughter of James F. and the late Thelma M. Auel, cherished mother of Amanda Auel and Justin Baumgardt, dear sister of Beverly Brown, Brenda Combs and James Auel Jr., and was the proud aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed deeply by her �fur babies�; dogs Hunter Nash and Nemo, and cats Sonny D and Shelby Tang. Barbara enjoyed bird watching and traveling. Her �Happy Place� was Red River Gorge, where she spent time camping, hiking and repelling. She also was passionate about gardening, but her first love was always spending quality time with her family and many friends. Visitation will be 2 pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015 until time of service, 4 pm, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford. If desired, the family requests donations are directed to the League for Animal Welfare, 4193 Taylor Rd, Batavia, OH 45103, a no kill animal shelter.
