Bernard M. Davis

Bernard M. Davis, age 74, passed away on March 14, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved son of Floy and the late Dolphus Davis, devoted husband of Betty Davis (Day), loving father of Kathy Fryman (Eigher), Cindy (Dan) Lyons, Derek (Shannon) Davis. Proud grandpa of Daniel IV (Stephanie), Tanner, Jacob, Kaitlyn and Karley, great grandpa to Daniel V, dear brother of Brenda Johnson, Boyd (Anna) Davis and Barry (Vera) Davis. Was a father figure to Jeff Best and will be missed dearly by his closest friend, Bob Jones. Bernard "Bernie/Bosco" worked at Ford for 36 years where at one point headed the Apprenticeship program. After retirement, he enjoyed working at a local archery store, where he trained new shooters and practiced his own shot. He served many years in the Shriners Drum and Bugle Corps, playing the bugle. He was a true animal lover and will be missed dearly by his two dogs. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. Visitation will be 2:00 PM, Friday, March 23, 2018 until time of Masonic service, 4:00 PM with funeral service to follow, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford.
