Betty Sue 'Granny Sue' Farr

Betty Sue Farr "Granny Sue" of Empire, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 73.  She was born in Empire, Alabama on June 16, 1946 to the late Manson and Edna Day.

Betty is survived by her loving children Sarah Ann DeRossett of Felicity, OH, Andy (Vanessa) McCay of Bessemer, Alabama, and Jeremy Farr of Empire, Alabama; her caring grandchildren Jerry DeRossett Jr of Felicity, OH, Tiffany McCay of Bessemer, Alabama, Tesla DeRossett of Mt. Orab, OH, and Tyler (Heather) McCay of Bessmer, Alabama.

In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband Levone Farr, and 10 siblings.

Betty lived most of her life in Empire, Alabama where she was a member of Owens Chapel Church of God.  She lived a long beautiful life as a caring individual, spreading love everywhere she went. She was a CNA making a difference to so many families.  Betty is now resting high in the sky, dancing with Jesus and Angels. May she be remembered and celebrated for the wonderful woman she was and is.
