Betty J. Reising

Betty Reising passed away peacefully at her Indian Hill home on July 9, 2018 surrounded by her family. Betty Jane was born to Marie Carr Sexton and Philip A. Sexton on July 14, 1923, in Covington, Kentucky. She graduated from the Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1944 and would continue her cherished nursing career into her 80s, through multiple assignments in many locations. She married Joseph M. Reising, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio in 1946 and together they had seven children. In 1968, the family relocated to Dillon, Colorado and although they returned to Cincinnati, Betty would frequently return to Colorado where she delighted in the skiing. She loved to entertain and to work in her gardens. She also enjoyed tennis, the theatre, her cats, backyard bird watching, and faithfully rooting for the Cincinnati Reds. Betty is survived by her children, Pamela, Joseph M. III, Melanie Reising (Randy Webb), Jennifer Musson (Robert), Scott, Palmer, and 11 grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by son Jeffrey. A private family service will be held at a later date.
