Betty Wilson Robinette

ROBINETTE, Betty Wilson was the wife and companion for more than 54 years of Douglas (Jack) Robinette. She was the mother of Lee A. Robinette (Phillip Craft), Elizabeth Robinette Schott (Don), Matt Robinette and Phillip Robinette (Jan Campbell) and grandmother of two. Her death was preceded by those of her sisters Goldie Wilson and Mable Biederman. Mrs. Robinette was a graduate of Ashland Community College and the University of Kentucky (where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa), and also earned a Masters degree from Cornell University. She taught for four years at Ithica College and worked for four more years at Proctor & Gamble before devoting herself to her family. She instilled a lifelong love of reading in her children. She and her husband shared many happy memories of trips to National Parks. After her husbands retirement, they extended their travels to five continents. Private services will be conducted in her hometown of Ashland, KY. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of memorial contributions to either Hospice of Cincinnati or the Alzheimers Association of Cincinnati.
