Betty Louise Shafer

SHAFER, Betty Louise of Mt. Orab, OH. Beloved aunt of Lisa Brooks of Sardinia, OH and numerous additional nieces and nephews; dear cousin of Jerry (Bonnie) Corboy of Sardinia, OH. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Shafer, her parents, Glenn and Fannie (nee Klein) Woodruff and a sister, Mary Ellen Brooks. Died Monday, June 29, 2009 at the age of 77. Mrs. Shafer was a hard worker growing up and working on the farm. Funeral service was held at 10 AM Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154, with Chaplain David Wirth officiating. Interment Confidence Cemetery, Georgetown, Ohio. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Hope.
