Betty M. Zornes

Betty M. (née Thatcher) Zornes passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 9, 2022, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Clarence E. Zornes, loving father of Daryl (Wilma) Zornes, the late Keith (Kelly Hoefler) Zornes, and the late Todd Zornes, proud Grandma of Carla Zornes, Caryl Zornes, Jennifer (James) Taylor, Steven Zornes, and Grammy to her great-grandchildren, Haylee Clark, Adam Taylor, Maddie Clark, Conner Clark, and Jeremiah Taylor, and will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousin, other family, friends, and her 4 legged Little Lady, Ellie Mae.

Betty was Miss Madisonville in 1949, was on the Milford/Miami Township Life Squad as an EMT and retired from Bethesda North Hospital after 20 years of service.

Betty’s family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Kenwood, especially Arryiana McKinley, Betty’s Oreo, for their amazing, loving care they provided.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory – Craver Chapel, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, where Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263.
