Beverly Brandt "Grandma Bev," age 92, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016, while visiting her daughter in Ohio. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Walthon W. Brandt in 2009 and two grandchildren, Robby and Lauren. She was the beloved mother of Kathleen B. Chagnard and husband, Robert C. Brandt and wife, Kenneth W. Brandt and wife, Leslie B. Minton and husband, and Marilyn B. Ryan and husband. She's the daughter of the late Earl Vernon and Leslie P. Vernon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.A native of New Orleans, LA, Bev was a homemaker, a bookkeeper, an artist and gardener. She loved life, loved her family, believed the best in everyone, had the kindest soul, and showered everyone she knew with love. She lived life to the fullest and found joy in everything she did. She was everybody's role model and will be sorely missed.
A Mass and memorial service will be held on November 5, 2016 in Slidell, LA.
Our Mother was a Beautiful spirit who loved everything that crossed her path. As we grieve in our loss we rejoice in her presence in heaven. Please join us as we celebrate her life with services on Saturday, November 5th 2016. Saint Margaret Mary Church in Slidell La. Visitation at 10:15 AM, Mass at 12 o'clock noon.
