Beverly Overstake

Beverly Overstake of Sardinia, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the age of 79.  She was born to the late Chester and Marguerite (nee Bruin) Balzhiser on October 03, 1943, in Pike Township, Ohio.

Beverly is survived by her loving children Kyle Overstake of Sardinia, Ohio, Krys (Chad) Hess of Winchester, Ohio, and Kerry (Sara) Overstake of Cincinnati, Ohio; her cherished grandchildren Kara, Karlie, Karson, Elise, Kayden, and Norah; along with her brother Ronald (Penny) Balzhiser of Williamsburg, Ohio and sister-in-law Kay (Dick) Bohl of Mowrystown, Ohio.

In addition to her parents Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth Overstake.

Beverly was an active member of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church, part of the Sardinia Garden Club, and a member of the Williamsburg Eastern Star.  She was an Aide in the Eastern School District for over 20 years where she impacted a lot of lives.  But her biggest and most important job was being a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren; she was their biggest fan and supporter.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church located at 330 Gay Street, Williamsburg, Ohio 45176.  Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:00 at the church.  Burial will follow at Sardinia Cemetery.  Pastor Dare Stevens officiating.
