Beverly F. Shivar

Beverly F. (née Flax) Shivar passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the age of 93. Beverly was born in Albany, NY to the late Louis and Lillian Flax in 1930.

Beverly was the loving mother of Mark (Perri) Shivar and Jeffrey (Michelle) Shivar, proud grandmother of Jennifer (Scott) Estridge, Amy (Sean) Gruber, Michelle (John) Bates, and her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, and Hailey Estridge, Adalyn Gruber, and Jordan and Molly Jo Bates, dear sister of Doris Marchese and Marilyn Sacolick.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Shivar, a son, Brian Shivar, and her sister,

Frances Skelly.

Beverly, her husband, and another couple were the originators of the Cincinnati Bop Club, which is still in existence today. She

worked most of her life as a Secretary at Hilton Davis, P&G, and Kroger, and was a lifelong animal lover.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.

If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to a SPCA on one’s choice.
