Brad Penland

Brad Penland of New Richmond, OH passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 28.  He was born on December 26, 1990 in Cincinnati, OH.

Brad is survived by his cherished son Aaron Ray Murica Penland (mother: Kristal Whittamore); his caring brother Travis (Taylor Cromer) Penland of New Richmond, OH; his loving mother Diane Purdy of New Richmond, OH; his Uncles Ron (Olga) Walters of Owensville, OH, David (Missy Willoughby) Purdy of Williamsburg, OH, Rodney (Dawnya) Walters of Arkansas, Don (Tina) Purdy of Bethel, OH, Keith Ison of Flordia, and Jim (Lisa) Shepherd of Batavia, OH; his aunt Debbie (Larry Wilson) Purdy of Cincinnati, OH; 11 cousins; 10 great cousins; and his maternal grandparents Ron and Mary Walters of New Richmond, OH.

Brad was preceded in death by his father Kevin Penland, and his paternal grandparents Delza and Carolyn Ison.

Brad served in the US Army during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, he loved working with his hands, he was a very funny and outgoing person who loved life.

Brad's greatest accomplishment was his son Aaron, he showed love for family and friends, and will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Mt. Orab Bible Baptist Church located at 990 W Main St, Mt Orab, OH 45154; family and friends will be received beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service.  Interment will follow at New Watkins Cemetery.  Ted House officiating.
