Brenda "Kay" Furnish

Brenda “Kay” Campbell Furnish of Lexington, South Carolina, formerly of Mt. Orab, Ohio passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born to the late Shelva Campbell and the late Hobert Grigsby in Hazard, Kentucky on December 6, 1957. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Earl Campbell; grandparents, Hiram and Fannie Campbell; and brothers Terry Campbell and Gregory Campbell.

Kay is survived by her husband, Rodney Furnish of Lexington, South Carolina; her daughter, Heather (née Storer) Jackson; son-in-law, Nathan D. Jackson; grandchildren: Reid Douglas Jackson and Claire Elizabeth Jackson, all of Fairborn, Ohio; her stepchildren: Matthew of North Carolina, Kelly of West Union, Ohio and Jeremy of Hillsboro, Ohio; her siblings: Harold D. (Mary) Campbell of Hillsboro, Ohio, Earl “Buddy” (Becky) Campbell Jr. of New Richmond, Ohio. Melvin (Paula) Campbell of Milford, Ohio, Rick (Jackie) Campbell of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Jeff (Tammy) Campbell of Mt. Orab, Ohio; her brother-in-law, George Kaylor of Mt. Orab, Ohio; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends; and her fur baby, Terry, who she loved.

Kay loved playing music, listening to music and concerts.

Funeral service 1 PM Friday, October 18, 2024, at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154. Family and friends received from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial Mt. Orab Cemetery, Mt. Orab, Ohio.
