Calvin C. Crowe

CROWE, Calvin C., formerly of Milford, passed away on Wednesday 2/20/2013. Beloved husband of the Late Mary Crowe, loving father of Jerald (Lucy) Johnson, Lois (the Late Edwin) Hensley, Phyllis (Raymond) Mabley, Jan (Alfred) Schwartz, Jill (Gary) Hanrahan and the Late Eugene Johnson. Devoted grandfather to 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Crowe proudly served his county in the Army during WWII. He spent 16 months in the European Theater of Operations with Battery B, 512 Field Artillery Battalion as a cannoneer on a 105mm howitzer gun crew. Visitation will be held on Friday, 2/22, 6:00-8:00pm at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 2/23, 10:00am, also at the Funeral Home.
