Catherine Douglass

Catherine H. Douglass, age 90, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2017. She was the devoted wife of the late Walter Douglass, loving mother of Joel (Jane) Anderson, Jim Douglass, Elizabeth (Robert) Lockwood, Polly Carranza and the late Robert Douglass, proud grandmother of Candy, Fawn, Rob, Andy, Kevin and Robin and was the great grandmother of seven. Catherine enjoyed cross stitch and was an avid Scrabble player, rarely finding anyone who could defeat her. She had a great sense of humor and found joy everywhere. Her second greatest pride, second only to raising her family, was her 50 years of sobriety, and she continued to help those who needed it up until her death. She will always be remembered by those people whose lives she touched. A gathering will be on 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, October 23, 2017 followed by a Memorial service at 1:00 PM, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford.
