Charlene "Char" K. Elwood

Charlene “Char” K. Elwood of Mt. Orab, Ohio, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles and Ophelia Wilson. She passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the age of 82.

Char was the loving mother of Todd (Sara) Elwood & Heather (Bill) Christie; proud Grandma Char of Chelsea Elwood, Austin Elwood, Zachery (Katrina) Simmons, Joshua (Taylor) Simmons, Juan Faura, Mandy Faura, Sebastian Faura and her great-grandchildren: Eliana, Astrid, & Zoey Simmons; and dear cousin of John Bellamy.

Char spent her life doing what she loved most and that was serving others. She was a woman of faith and very faithful in everything she did. She was an avid reader and writer and was a very giving person. Char loved the Great Smoky Mountains, cooking, and Christmas. Oh yes, Christmas! Char absolutely loved Christmas.
