Charles F. Blackmore

Charles “Chig” F. Blackmore passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 14,

2024, at the age of 82. He was born in Greene County, IN to the late

Charles and Rosanna Blackmore.

Chig was the beloved husband of 45 years to Pamela S. (née Croswell)

Blackmore and a loving father of Carey Blackmore & Casey (Miles Wagers,

partner) Blackmore. He leaves behind a sister, Karen, and numerous

nieces and nephews.

Chig was raised on a farm and was a lifelong basketball fan, especially

Indiana University. He attended Washington University on a basketball

scholarship and completed his college career at Indiana State University in

Terre Haute, IN, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

After 34 years spent with **the Internal Revenue Service, Chig retired and

spent his remaining years with his family and three dogs.

Per the wishes of the deceased, there will be no public service or

visitation.
