Charles "Charlie" E. Schleyer

Charles “Charlie” E. Schleyer Jr, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Jean Schleyer, cherished dad of Ronnie (Mellason Yeary) Schleyer and Rebecca Earls, proud grandpa of Ryan Herrington and his great grandchildren, Emma, Eli, and Daisy Herrington, dear brother-in-law of Ronnie Holland, and will also be missed by his nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Wilmette Schleyer and two sisters, Joann (Bob) Brunnell and Catherine Holland. Charlie graduated from Little Miami High School and was a proud Panther. He was an avid fisherman, and until his death was the oldest member of the Laurel Lodge IOOF – Milford. After working for 32 years at Kroger, Charlie retired early to care for his wife before she passed away. Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory – Craver Chapel, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 10 AM.
