Charles A. Griffie

Charles A. Griffie passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan (née Faulkner) Griffie, cherished, loving, kind, all-giving, wonderful dad of Alan (Reenie) Griffie, proud Grandpa of Chris, Todd, Amber(Jeremy) and his great-granddaughter, Ava Cassarubias, and brother of Bob Griffie and Frank (Patty) Griffie. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Evelyn Griffie and his sister Marybelle Caudill.

Charles graduated from Morehead University in the Class of 1962, retired from teaching at Deer Park, Ohio School District after 33 years, was a longtime member of Milford First United Methodist Church, and a very active member of the Lions Club. His 1st love was Gardening, and he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Kentucky Wildcats.

A Visitation will be on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 5-6PM at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory – Craver Chapel, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150. A Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 2 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford.

Pastor Bill Tice will be officiating.
