HILL, Charles N. 68, of Milford, Ohio, died July 18 after a brief but insurmountable illness. Born May 11, 1941 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Charlie was a son of the late James B. Hill and Marjorie N. Hill. He is also preceded in death by his brother, James R. Hill. He served in the United States Coast Guard (1961-65) and was stationed on Fire Island in New York and Johnston Island in the Pacific. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A.in English Literature. He was an outstanding writer and researcher. He published his book entitled "Fix On The Rising Sun" copyrighted in 2000. For the past several years he was employed at Milford Self-Storage. He is survived by his wife, Carol (nee; Marler) Hill, his sons; James (Lisa) Hill of Thomson, GA, Ian Hill and Charlie Hill, both of Milford, and his daughter Megan (Alex) Clark, of Cincinnati, his two grandsons; Bradley and Logan of Thomson, GA, and a sister, Ann (John) Poynton, of Flat Rock, NC. A Memorial service will begin at 3PM August 8th at the Milford American Legion Hall.
