Charles R. Kemmeter

Charles R. Kemmeter, of Buford, Ohio, formerly of Milford, Ohio, was born on July 17, 1932. He passed away on October 15, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 93 years old at the time of his passing.

Charles proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, a testament to his dedication and commitment to his country. He was a man of diverse interests, with a particular passion for collecting and working on watches and clocks. This hobby not only showcased his meticulous nature but also kept him engaged and fascinated throughout his life. Additionally, he enjoyed baseball and bowling, often spending cherished moments participating in these activities. An avid outdoorsman, Charles found joy in nature, making it a significant part of his life.

Charles is survived by his loving companion of 21 years, Delores "Dee" Mitchell of Buford, Ohio, and his nephew, Steven Barr of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Rosalie Kemmeter, and his sister, Mary Katherine Barr.

Visitation for Charles will be held at Megie Funeral Home & Crematory - Craver Chapel in Milford, Ohio. from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM October 20, 2025, followed by a graveside service at Buford Cemetery in Sardinia at 1:00 PM.
