(nee Asher) Collins; loving father to Debbie Collins of Morristown, TN, Charles Robert (Emily) Collins of Clarksville, TN, Becky Collins of VA, Michelle M. (Oscar) Arechiga, of CA, Leon F. Cassady of Fayetteville, OH, Michael J. Cassady of Amelia, OH, Sandy (Jeff) Duncan of Amelia, OH and David J. Cassady of Logan, OH; dear grandfather to Charles R. Collins Jr., Jaime Collins-Barber, Dustin White, Stevie Duncan, Allison Cassady, Craig Allison, Shane McCluskey, Brandon McCluskey, David Arechiga, Danielle Arechiga, Angela Cassady and Cassandra Cassady; affectionate great- grandfather of Jeffrey Collins, Zachary Collins-Barber and numerous other great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara A. Kapis; a sister, Mary Hightowner; a grandchild, Dusty Cassady; along with his parents, Ben and Nola Collins. March 6, 2008 at the age of 74. Mr. Collins retired from the U.S. Army which he served in Korea and Vietnam War. After his retirement he operated an Auctioneer Service in the New Hope area. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Owensville, Ohio. Visitation will be on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 12PM - 1PM at the Megie Funeral Home with Funeral Service starting at 1PM. Interment will be at the Mount Orab Cemetery.
