Cheryl Ann Lison Ed.D.

Cheryl Ann Lison, Cher as her friends knew her, passed away on October 27, 2008, at the age of 61 years. A native of Gardner, MA, Cher earned her Master of Arts in English at the University of Connecticut, Doctor of Education at the Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, where she retired as the Director of the Learning Center, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in 2005. Cher will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kelley (Kent) Vandersloot, her grandchildren Willem and Jack Vandersloot, sister Joan (Randy) Stewart and brother Mark Lison. She was a teacher, facilitator, writer, editor, trainer, instruction designer, poet and friend. A private service to celebrate her life will be held in St. Johnsbury, VT.
