Clayton C. Howard

Clayton C. Howard, age 90, passed away quietly on October 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Clayton Howard, and is the beloved father of Brenda (Dennis) Iannitti, Geannie (Jim) Johnson, Roberta Howard, and Patricia (Tim) Ontko, cherished grandfather of Alyson (O�Sam Mardin) Iannitti, Amanda (Ross) Sherman, Michelle (Mike) Hatcher, Bryan Conn, Amy, Charles and Margaret Benson, and Jackson, Christopher and Carly Ontko, and loving great grandfather of seven. Clayton proudly defended his country in WWII, serving in the U.S.Navy, in the Coast Guard, and as a Merchant Marine. It was while he was in the service, that he discovered his love of leather crafting. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate his life at a Memorial service, Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 10:00 AM, at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford.
