Curlene I. E. Smith

Curlene I. E. (née Collins) Smith passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born in 1931 to the late Curran N. and Lillian L. Collins in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Curlene was the beloved wife to the late Tommy J. Smith; dedicated mom to Mike (Linda) Smith, Tommy (Kim) Smith, Jeremy Smith and Jesse (Brittany) Smith; proud Mawmaw of Missy Smith, Amy Smith, JeNiece (Tim) Christie, Michaela (Brandon Brinson) Smith, Chelbee (David) Baker, Dakota Smith, Justin (Alyssa) Smith, Nathan Smith, Jada Smith, her great-grandchildren, Wally (Alexandria) Cosand, Candace (Mike) House, Aliya Christie, Sebastian Lee, Jadyn Baker, Kodi Pickelheimer, Raelin Baker, and her great-great grandchildren, Cole Smith, Emmalyn Kay Smith, Leo Cosand, Hendrix Cosand, and Gabriel Cosand; and will also be miss by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Curlene was preceded in death by her son, Willard Nelson “Dusty” Smith, her twin great-great grandchildren, Riley and Karma Cosand, and three siblings, Melba L. Nash, C. Neal Collins, and Johnno N. Collins.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 6-8 PM at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150. Funeral Services will be Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10 AM at the Goshen Methodist Church, 6710 Goshen Rd., Goshen, OH 45122, officiated by Pastor Elizabeth Reed.

Interment will be at Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, OH.
