Cynthia L. Schumacher

SCHUMACHER Cynthia Lounsbury, of Milford, Ohio passed away at home on Saturday, November 20th at the age of 86. She is survived by her loving husband Raymond and four children, Jim Schumacher (Terry Milligan), Karen Zanger (Stuart), Kristin Wild (Gerry), and Lisa Schumacher (Steve Quinn). Another son, Richard Schumacher, pre-deceased her. Her brother Richard Lounsbury and sister Corinne Noble, as well as her five grandchildren, Anne, Ellen, Emilie, Jessica, and Rosalie, will miss her presence at home and at Eatonbrook in upstate New York. Cynthia was born and raised in Syracuse, New York where she met her husband of 61 years. They moved to Milford in 1951, where "Cy" found creative outlet in the Garden Club and the Old Milford Library. She was another mom to many on Cleveland Avenue and formed enduring friendships. Cy loved gardens and wildflowers, cooking for family, reading and great music. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
