SMITH, Dallas Edward of Mt. Orab, Ohio. Beloved husband of Loretta Smith (nee Armstrong); loving father of Daryl (Teresa) Smith of Mt. Orab, Ohio; Duane (Claudia) Smith of Kansas; Don (Jane) Smith of Ripley, Ohio; Lisa (Bill) Conover of Winchester, Ohio; and Sue (Mike) Dickens of Mt. Orab, Ohio; cherished brother of Shirley Vaughn of Kansas; Clara Davis of Williamsburg, Ohio; Verna Shinkle of Mt. Orab, Ohio; Arthur Smith of Mt. Orab, Ohio; James Smith of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Paul Smith of Florida; devoted grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 14 great grand-children. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Katherine Smith; 3 children Dean Smith, Lori Jo Lewis and Dennis Smith; 2 grandchildren and 6 brothers. Passed November 2, 2008 at the age of 75. Mr. Smith was retired from State of Ohio, State Garage in Georgetown, Ohio; Served in the United States Army during Korean Conflict and a Member of the Georgetown and Williamsburg American Legion. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 6, 2008 from 1PM to 3PM at the Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt Orab, Ohio with services starting at 3PM with Steve Smith officating. Interment will be at the New Harmony Cemetery.
