David Dwayne Aleshire II
David Dwayne Aleshire II passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the age of 33. Born on January 9, 1993, David was the beloved son of David Dwayne Aleshire I and Denise Rae Aleshire.
David leaves behind his loving parents; his siblings, Amanda (Chance) Davidson, Amber Aleshire, Alexis Aleshire, Katie Aleshire, Dakota Aleshire, Aislynn Aleshire, and Aaron Barger; and his nieces and nephews, Aaliyah, Alexander, Emory, Mackenzie, Charlotte, Corrine, and Jackson. His grandfather, Paul Aleshire, niece Riley creek, and stepfather Delbert Malott, preceded him in death.
David was so much more than the words that can fit into an obituary. He was an incredibly kind and gentle person with a genuinely funny personality, and he had a way of bringing laughter to the people around him. He was also known for his deep, distinct voice-a voice you could recognize immediately and one his family and friends would give anything to hear again.
David was the kind of person who never met a stranger. His kindness was simply part of who he was. He had a warm heart, cared deeply for the people he loved, and left an impression on those fortunate enough to know him. His humor, his voice, his kindness, and all the little things that made David David will be remembered and missed more than words can express.
He worked at the N.A.L. Plant in Mt. Orab and was an enthusiastic Pokémon player and collector, something that brought him great enjoyment.
He will be remembered not simply for how he left this world, but for who he was while he was here: kind, funny, unmistakably David, and loved beyond measure.
Visitation will be held from 6–8 PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the same location.
