David C. Boman, Sr.

David C. Boman Sr. of Mt. Orab, Ohio, formerly of McCreary County, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was 79. He was born on February 18, 1945, to the late James and Ida Mae Boman.

David is survived by his children: Lisa (Jason) Roberts of McCreary County, Kentucky and Nanette (William) Thomas of Whitley City, Kentucky; his grandchildren: Amber Jane, Dylan, William Tyler, Jason Ryan, Preston and Alex; his great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Lexi, Addison, Agatha and Dorothy; and his siblings: Sylvia Strunk of Fairfield, Ohio, Patsy Ross of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kathy Hamlin of Stearns, Kentucky, and Nancy Ball of Stearns, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, David Bowman Jr., and five siblings: Phoebia Boman, Bonita Swartz, Larry Boman, Gene Boman and Ray Boman.

David served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne. He retired from the USPS and enjoyed substitute teaching.
