Deborah "Debbie" Cornwell-Tolle

Deborah "Debbie" Cornwell-Tolle, a beloved wife, devoted sister, cherished aunt, and passionate animal lover, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on July 20, 1953, Debbie grew up in the nurturing community of Goshen, Ohio, where she graduated from Goshen High in 1971.

Throughout her life, Debbie was known for her unwavering kindness and infectious spirit. A true animal lover at heart, she found immense joy in the companionship of her beloved Pugs, Luna and Logan, who were her loyal partners through life's journey. Her passion for Pugs extended beyond personal affection, as she became a dedicated advocate for their welfare. Debbie was the proud organizer of the Cincinnati Pug Meet-up Group, where she devoted countless hours to hosting events and fundraisers while raising funds to support the Blue Grass Pug Rescue. Her efforts not only brought joy to Pug owners but also made a significant impact in the lives of many furry friends in need.

Debbie shared a beautiful life with her husband, Richard Tolle, for 38 wonderful years, where their bond grew stronger with each passing day. Together, they created lasting memories that will be cherished forever. She was also a beloved sister to Ronald Cornwell, Timothy Cornwell, and Nancy Cornwell Pratt. Her love extended to her nieces and nephew, Justin (Julie) Cornwell and Sara (née Pratt) (Ty) Haggard, along with her great nieces, Kaylee Cornwell and Charlie Haggard, and her great nephew, Jack Haggard.

In addition to her family, Debbie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lucian L. and Marjorie "Midge" A. Cornwell, and her great niece, Kimmie Cornwell. Each of these relationships shaped her life and contributed to her warmhearted nature.

Debbie's home in Oakley was a testament to her vibrant personality, filled with love, laughter, and the occasional bark of her furry companions. Her warmth touched everyone she met, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love for animals, and a commitment to community service.

As we remember Debbie, we celebrate the joy and light she brought into our lives. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding force in the hearts of those she loved and inspired.
