Dewey Rooks

ROOKS, Dewey of Loveland. Beloved husband of Roberta A. (nee Krebs) Rooks of Loveland, OH; loving father of Laura K. (Mark) Short of Loveland, OH; caring grandfather of Ethan M. Short and Devin M. Short; also survived by a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, James Virgil and Lula (nee Pyle) Rooks; two brothers, Delmar Rooks and Zach Rooks; and one sister, Velma Whalen. Passed December 31, 2008 at the age of 86. Mr. Rooks retired from Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, OH and he served in the US Marine Corps. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Monday, January 5, 2009 at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home, 529 Main Street, Milford, OH 45150 where services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2009.
