Diane Welch

Diane Welch, a loving mother and friend, passed unexpectedly on March 22, 2015 at the age of 67 while peacefully sleeping. Diane is survived by her child Brian Welch, and his Wife Suzie, her grandchildren Lucas Combest, and Daman Welch, her brother Russel Jones, sisters Maxine Burton and Linda Partin. She was loved by her family, friends and her extended family at Venetian Gardens. They all enriched her life, and she touched everyone she knew. Diane was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on May 20, 1947 to Sie Bear and Eulalia Jones, She attended High School in Barbourville. Diane worked as a Restaurant Manager for several organizations until she retired in 2000, and was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. On January 28, 1972 she married Joe Welch, a decorated Vietnam Veteran who adopted Brian as his own, he was the most important part of her life and now they are joined together again. Diane was a devoted ,mother and a �mother-hen� to all she met. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and building puzzles as well as visiting with the people closest to her. She was a spiritual woman and was involved in many church activities, including singing in the Venetian Choir, and participating in the activities during and after services. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30AM . on March 28th at Craver-Riggs on Main Street, Milford. Pastor Leroy Addis will officiate.the service. Condolences may be offered at 529 Main Street, Milford, OH 45150. The family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Diane Welch, C/O Craver-Riggs.
