Beloved mother of David Lee Alexander of PA, Daniel Lloyd Alexander of CA and Donna Lisa Gant of Mowrystown, OH; caring grandmother of six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; loving sister of Audrey Fronsoe of Williamsburg, OH, Arthur Shoemake of Morningview, KY, Vickie Grnya of MI and Dale Shoemake of Mt. Orab, OH. Passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Hayes; her parents, Chilton Ralph and Marjorie Marie Shoemake; and six brothers and sisters, Peggy Fiolka, Charles Shoemake, Ralph Shoemake, Jr., Mary Rohrich, Kenny Michael Shoemake and Clara Mullen.

Funeral service 1 PM Monday, February 24, 2014 at Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, OH 45154, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial Williamsburg Cemetery, Williamsburg, OH.
