Don E. Smith

Don E. Smith of Loveland, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the age of 77 years old. He was born in Martinsville, IN to the late Guy and Martha Smith.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Carol J. Smith; two loving children: Charlene Rose and Sean (Kelli) Smith; his cherished grandchildren: Chas Rose, the late Blake Rose, Mikal (David) McElveen, Ethan (Nicole) Rose, Olivia (Tyler Roth) Smith, Taylor Rose, and Connor Smith, his precious great-grandchildren: Paislee Rose, Ari McElveen, Marley McElveen, and Ada Rose, and his dear fur baby, Louise.

Don was an avid hunter, a bourbon enthusiast, and an adventurous scuba diver, certified in rescue. He was very proud to volunteer with the police departments in Cocoa and St. Petersburg, FL. Don also started and built his own company, Mobilized Systems, Incorporated.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10 AM at St Columban, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland, OH 45140. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM at St. Columban immediately following the visitation.

If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions in Don’s honor be directed to the Cincinnati Cancer Advisors.
