Donald Lee Clevenger

Donald L Clevenger passed away peacefully at home April 30, 2015, with his family by his side. He was a devoted husband of 47 years to his wife Victoria A Clevenger. They have two children Tara Clevenger and Daniel Clevenger; as well as five grandchildren Colten and Gavin Parker, Drake, Victoriana and Genevieve Clevenger. He is also survived by his siblings Roberta Bullough, Alvin Clevenger, Harold Clevenger, and Carl Clevenger. Don was born in Lockland Ohio February 25, 1942, he attended Lockland high school and in 2004, he was inducted into their athletic Hall of Fame. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army. He served in the First Air Calvary in the Vietnam War. While serving in Vietnam Don actively retrieved US downed helicopters. After returning home Don attended CTC and settled into a machinist position at Electro Jet Tool (for 25years). He moved on to Hi Tek in Mason for approximately 12 years before he retired. After retiring Don�s love of cars manifested into building a street rod, he traveled with his car to many car shows. He enjoyed talking to and meeting new people that had the same passion for sharp fast cars. Through their years together Don and Victoria enjoyed the restoration of their 1820s home. Don also had a talent for restoring antique carriages for Victoria. Don was a strong soul, he was meticulous with all endeavors he took on. He never ever gave up or gave in. Don will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be 2 pm until time of service, 4:30 pm Friday, May 8, 2015, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford.
