Donald Duane Olson

Donald Duane Olson, age 87, son of the late Steven and Blanche Olson, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of the late Pauline (nee Smith) Olson, loving father of Douglas (Karen) Olson, Curt (Darla) Olson and Eric (Janet) Olson, proud grandfather of Stephen, Alec, Kate, Tyler, Lauren and Emily, dear great grandfather of Avery and brother of the late Richard S. Olson. Mr. Olson was a 50 year resident of Terrace Park, and a past long-standing member of the Terrace Park Country Club. Mr. Olson enjoyed a successful 35 year career in Account Management at Dow Chemical Company, and also belonged to the Cincinnati Drug and Chemical Association and was an active and longtime member of Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Olson also proudly and bravely served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
