Donald Eugene Trost

Donald E. Trost, age 75, of Blue Ash, passed away quietly on November 17, 2007 with his family beside him. A retired Evandale firefighter, Don continued working with the King�s Island fire department until 2006. He was an avid fisherman, and spent many of his happiest hours with his children and grandchildren fishing. He also had a love of photography, and earned the nickname �Flash� for the speed, or lack of speed, with which he performed his duties while at the Evandale Fire Department. Don leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Phyllis (nee Makin) Trost, his beloved children Lee (Trena), Terry, Tommy (Liz) Trost, and Lisa (Glen) Davis. He was also the proud grandfather of Tiffany, Stacy, Joshua, Christopher, Matthew, Jonathan and Felicia Trost, Glen, Kody and Alexis Davis, and the adoring great grandfather of Tyler and Mackenzie Trost. He will also be missed by his dear sister Janice Huffaker. Friends and family are welcome 5-8 pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, with funeral service, 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford.
