Donna Preston

Donna (née Doss) Preston, a beloved member of her community and a dedicated caregiver, passed away on December 21, 2025, in Anderson, Ohio. She was born on February 28, 1960, in Georgetown, Ohio. Donna’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and her commitment to caring for others.

As a retired caregiver, Donna dedicated her professional life to helping those in need, bringing comfort and compassion to countless individuals throughout her career. Her kindness extended beyond her work; she was known for cherishing family time and took immense joy in the company of her grandchildren, with whom she created countless cherished memories.

Donna was a proud member of Sardinia Nazarene Church, a community where she found strength and fellowship. Her faith played a significant role in her life and shaped her values, which she passed down to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandy (Dennis) Eppert; her son, Robert (Melissa) Preston; and her daughters, Kandace Preston and Kassandra Preston. Donna was a loving grandmother to Mackenzy, Calvyn, Jayden, Koltyn, J.T., Chuckie, Keegan, William, Izellah, and Evie. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by numerous brothers and sisters.

Donna is preceded in death by her father, Elwood Doss; her mother, Mabel Brown; and her grandchild, Merrick Alredge.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on December 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Megie Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Donna's legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
